Restaurants in Zavala

When you follow the seafront path you will find following local amenities:

App. 100 m: local bakery which is opened from 7 am to 10 am daily
App. 300 m: Restaurant Skalinada with croatian specialities
App. 300 m: Beachbar Terra-Nova (at Skalinada) which sells ice creams and drinks
App. 800 m: Restaurant Stella-Mare with local specialities
App. 1200 m: Cafebar Zaca (drinks and ice creams)
App. 1300 m: Pizza parlour Davor (100 m past the harbour in Zavala), great Pizza and small dishes

Don’t forget to take your torch when going out for an evening stroll but you can oviously also take your car.

App. 600 m above Nautilus-Bay (100 m east from the turn) you can find the local shop (market) with all supplies for your initial daily needs.

There is a number of local restaurants which have already been tested and recommended by our guests when you’re looking for some variety or if you would like to combine your trip to the restaurant with an excursion:

Pitve (just on the other side of the tunnel): Restaurant Konoba Dubokovic - lovely atmosphere, fantastic local dishes
Sveta Nedelja (app. 10 km west from Zavala but on the same side of the tunnel): Restaurant Tamaris (located right by the sea, 100 m east from the local harbour) – delicious Pizza baked in a natural woodstove, fresh fish and meat dishes; kitchen is open from 1pm
Vrisnik (on the other side of the tunnel, turn left after Pitve): Restaurant Konoba Vrisnik – great atmosphere, delicious local meals, friendly owner
Jelsa: with a good choice of different kind of Restaurants, we would like to mention Restaurant Konoba Nono – lovely atmosphere, imaginative delicious dishes, friendly owners
Vrboska: Pizzeria Skolje huge Pizza baked in a natural woodstove
Stari Grad (past the harbour, turn right after the school): Restaurant Stari Mlin – open all year, also for lunch, great menu
Humac (app. 20 km from Jelsa towards Sucuraj, east): Konoba Humac – great rustic atmosphere, their speciality is a traditional „Peka“ where either meat or Octopus is being cooked under a bell right in the fire
