A really nice time for a holiday on Hvar is the early summer. End of June, beginning of July the weather is almost always stable and sunny, but not as hot as in midsummer.
In these weeks the bright purple lavender fields decorate the hills and fields on Hvar. The scent of lavender blends with that of broom and rosemary. On Hvar the lavender is almost exclusively harvested by hand with a sickle and processed into lavender oil on the island.
Anyone who has always wanted to see and photograph lilac slopes does not have to go to the south of France. Also here at Hvar you will find wonderful photo motives and experience a wonderfully quiet and decelerated time.
